Katie Grant studied History and Philosophy at the University of Glasgow, where she later went on to teach medieval history. She is married with three children and lives in Scotland. A children's author and freelance writer, Katie currently writes weekly columns for the Scotsman, the Scottish Daily Mail, and also for the Ecosse section of the Sunday Times.
