Philip Webb
Philip Webb had a happy childhood roaming and exploring and was fascinated by the local rubbish dump where he played out lots of post-apocalyptic adventures with his friends.
"The forbidden nature of the place, the junk, the rats and the smell all inspired the dark and dangerous setting for Six Days. Inspiration can come from anywhere – art, design, film, exciting places... No experience is wasted. When writing Six Days, I was interested in what the world of the story looked and felt like, and how it worked – and my studies in human-computer interaction generated many ideas."
Philip was born in 1967 and works as a user experience consultant. He has a computer science degree and a Masters in human computer interaction. His interests include travel, art, design and film. Philip lives with his wife in West London.
