Susan Hayes - Author

Susan Hayes writes and publishes children's non-fiction. Taking inspiration from her daughter, and using her experience as a primary school teacher, Susan's mission is to make learning fun and books addictive. Her books range from preschool titles to family reference, and include novelty and activity. She's had numerous best sellers in every corner of the globe. Susan lives deep in the East Sussex countryside with her partner, 6 year old daughter, and three rather chubby guinea pigs. Artist and designer Simon Abbott has been illustrating children's books for 15 years. He specialises in bold colours and delightful characters of all kinds and describes his work as fun, fresh and happy. His easy style has instant appeal and helps to communicate complex ideas and concepts in an instant. Whether he is drawing playground fun, astronauts, dinosaurs or monkeys swinging through trees, his art is always engaging and is guaranteed to make children smile. Simon lives and works in Suffolk, with his partner Sally, 3 boys called Jack, Nathan and Alfie...and a very old cat called Harry.
