Sherri Maret is a former English teacher/library media specialist. Her book, The Cloud Artist: A Choctaw Tale, published by The RoadRunner Press was a finalist for First Nation Communities Read Award, Oklahoma Book Award, and Writers' League of Texas Book Award. She is also the author of Lela and the Butterflies (Muddy Boots, 2020) and TwelveDays of Winter (Muddy Boots, 2022) She lives in Walla Walla, Washington.
