It’s a saga of a search through dustbins and even the dump itself before the triumphant recovery. Told in simple rhyming verse, it’s a treat on its own but the accompanying CD which includes the three sequels as ‘performed’ by Bill Oddie and Imelda Staunton among others, makes it irresistible.
