The Lovereading4Kids comment

The combination of poo and dinosaurs. How can any child, particularly a boy not completely love this brilliant picture book. In rollicking, fast-paced verse and supremely colourful illustrations with die-cut flaps, dinosaurs hunt for the largest poo. The queue of dinosaurs searching gets longer, the poos get larger, and so do the flaps. Young children and parents will enjoy the quest for poo, learn the names of lots of different dinosaurs and, the all important and unexpected ending, in this humorous book that combines two popular and particularly relevant subjects.

A Piece of Passion from Sue Tarsky Dinosaur Poo combines all the elements that young children love: rollicking, fast-paced humour, rhyming verse, dinosaurs, colourful illustrations, sound words they can say out loud, flaps to look for and lift, a pop-up and - poo! Irresistible for little ones.

The Good Book Guide logo The Good Book Guide Review. In an amazing and irreverent look at poo, a group of dinosaurs gets together to find out who does the biggest poo. Not only does the story manage to make dinosaur names rhyme but it also contains pop-ups so that young children can lift the flaps and find the hidden poo. Great fun! (Ages 2–5)
