MARGARET GREAVES was educated at St Hugh's College, Oxford, and taught English in schools and at St Mary's College of Education, Cheltenham. Sadly, Margaret died in 1993. LISA KOPPER was born in Chicago and studied painting and sculpture at Carnegie-Mellon University and subsequently moved to England. She has illustrated more than 100 children's books.
