The Lovereading4Kids comment

An ingenious Christmas book and playmat in one, with six colourful scenes with plenty to spot and find on each. There are also cardboard characters to help bring the story of the nativity to life.

Christmas Journey Storybook With Pop-Up Play Scenes by Juliet David

Follow Mary and Joseph's journey to Bethlehem with this beautiful board book in a case with a ribbon tie. Read about the Nativity in the pop-up storybook, then unfold the book to make a 3D playmat!

Comes with ten play pieces (Baby Jesus in the manger, the innkeeper, Mary, Joseph, an Angel, a camel, two sheep, a shepherd and a donkey!) so children can re-enact the first Christmas.

The pieces slot into an envelope at the front of the book for easy storage.
