Shortlisted for Oscar’s First Book Prize 2015 A wonderfully quirky and funny picture book of friendship and surprises in which appearances can be deceptive from bestselling and award-winning picture book creator, Tim Warnes (Monty and Milli - The Totally Amazing Magic Trick, I Don't Want to Go to Bed). Children will love this funny story about surprises, labels and a very unlikely friendship. Packed with adjectives, it's fantastic for expanding your child's vocabulary too.

Dangerous! by Tim Warnes

This paperback edition comes with over 100 free stickers! Mole loves labelling things, but when he comes across a strange thing, he doesn't know what to call it. It's lumpy and bumpy, and has snippy-snappy teeth. Could it be dangerous? Look out, Mole!

Packed with new words to learn, use and love, bold, bright and colourful illustrations, and a story that glows with fun, warmth and affection, this enchanting book is ideal for reading and sharing. -- Pam Norfolk Lancaster Evening Post ...A charming lesson in the perils of judging a book by its cover or, in this instance, a crocodile by its long scaly lips and snippy-snappy teeth . Better still, it comes with two pages of stickers so kids can label the crocodile, lumpy warts and all. -- Rebecca Davies The Independent A quirky and unusual story which is a great way to encourage children to develop language skills (although they will think they are just having fun!). It's full of surprises and is a lovely story of friendship. Parents in Touch
