About the Author

VALERIE DAVIES is a prolific natural history consultant and children's author. She has written many books for children including the Sounds of the Wild series. LUCY ENGELMAN graduated from the University of Michigan in 2011 and has been illustrating ever since. Her distinctive detailed line work has attracted clients including West Elm, Bon Appetit, Chronicle Books and New York Times Dining.
