Synopsis

Wilbie - Footie Mad! by Sally Chambers

Wilbie is a duck with a passion for football! When Wilbie was small, his dad watched football all the time, so Wilbie watched too. In fact, Wilbie has watched and read and collected and listened to so much about football that he is certain he must be brilliant at playing it!

About the Author

Sally Chambers

I live in Hayes, Kent, with my partner and a little cat called Willow. I have lived in this area all my life with the exception of three years I spent studying for a BA in Illustration at the University of Brighton.

When I’m not working, I love the garden – it provides the perfect excuse for fresh air when I’ve been at my desk too long and every time I go out there is something new to see. I also love a good rummage in junk shops, auctions and car boot sales, hoping to find that elusive bargain! Living in a 1930s house I am always looking out for a nice piece of art deco, but can rarely afford it!
