Synopsis

Son of Spartapuss by Robin Price

New to Rome, the Son of Spartapuss has a lot to learn. When a mysterious stranger offers to pay his debts, he finds himself in the School for Strays which turns out to be a school for gladiators. Join the Son of Spartapuss and his fiery friend Furia as they battle their way from gladiator school in Rome to the Olympuss Games.

Robin Price

Robin Price is the author of three historical series’ Spartapuss , The Olympuss Games and Beowuff – where cats and dogs rule the world. His graphic novel London Deep was chosen as a Recommend Read for World Book Day in 2011. An Olivier nominated songwriter, Robin writes songs for Tall Stories theatre company. His writing credits include The Gruffalo and Room on the Broom (by Julia Donaldson) and a musical version of Something Else by the Children’s Laureate Chris Riddell. When he’s not writing books. Robin leads creative writing workshops for kids and has run writing workshops for Shakespeare’s Birthplace Trust and The Young Archaeologists Club.
