The Lovereading4Kids comment

Little Hedgehog is about to start school and though he knows his mum is excited about that, his tummy is full of butterflies. Starting school can be a scary prospect for little children, and this cosy story will offer them lots of reassurance and also provide parents with a fun way of talking about what the experience involves. Little Hedgehog is very appealing with his school cap and satchel, and children will certainly be able to identify with him. There are useful supporting notes for parents too. ~ Andrea Reece
