The Lovereading4Kids comment

Little boys and girls who have just learned to read will absolutely adore The Littlest Pirate for it’s a story with a huge amount of fun and adventure broken down into short chapters and some terrific illustrations.

Synopsis

The Littlest Pirate by Sherryl Clark

Meet the littlest pirate in the world! Nicolas Nosh's family won't let him go to sea and he's bored. "I'll show them," he says. And when the fierce pirate Captain Red Beard kidnaps his family, he sets sail to rescue them! An adventurous first reader for 6-8 year-olds. Includes humorous story for first readers - simple chapters, which help make reading fun! It also includes lively line drawings throughout by Tom Jellet.

About the Author

Sherryl Clark
I was born in New Zealand in 1956 and moved to Australia in 1978.

Today my time is divided between teaching and writing, but much as I enjoy teaching, I do hope to eventually write almost full-time (I can’t imagine giving up teaching altogether!). I also speak at conferences, teach one-off workshops, visit schools (when I have time) and participate in events such as the MS Readathon and children’s book events.
