The Lovereading4Kids comment

A playful book of opposites, this stunning and robust novelty board book contains 9 press-out pieces to be slotted into die-cut spaces and a mylar mirror to learn new words and practice motor skills and shape recognition.

Win a copy of HATS OF FAITH

There should be more books like this: in bright, appealing illustrations it tells children how people of different faiths cover their heads to show their love for God. This beautifully illustrated, board book aims to teach children, parents and educators about the shared custom of head covering across the Jewish, Sikh, Christian, Rastafarian, and Islamic faiths. Hats of Faith helps prepare young children for our culturally diverse, modern world and encourages tolerance and understanding.

To have a chance of winning one of three copies of Hats of Faith, click the button below. Please note that this draw is open only for UK residents and is free to enter, multiple entries from the same email address will only be counted once.

The draw closes on 5 October 2017. The winners will be notified by 19 October 2017.

Synopsis

Give & Take by Lucie Felix

Press out the shape and turn the page to complete a new picture. Best of all, ask a grown-up to play along with you, from 'take' and 'give' and 'break' and 'build' to 'now you see me', 'now you don't!' till you rediscover the red circle of the beginning, now become an apple. Once you're there, you can go backwards through the book and do it all again!

Reviews

'Highly engaging large-format board book exploring shapes and opposites in a simple graphic style reminiscent of Herve Tullet.' The Bookseller
