The Lovereading4Kids comment

There’s a great deal to spot and name in this bright, attractive book. Woodland creatures, minibeasts, underwater creatures, farm and jungle animals are all featured in vibrant illustrations and clearly labelled with their names and the noises they make too. The illustrations will catch the attention of even the very youngest while little hands will find shapes to trace and finger trails to explore. Die-cut holes and clever design provide lots of opportunities for peep-o games too. Appealing, and really well-thought out, this is an ideal first book. ~ Andrea Reece

Baby's Very First Play Book Animal Words by Fiona Watt

A brightly coloured, high-contrast, multi-sensory book for babies. Delightful to share, this touchy-feely book will engage even a tiny baby's attention. Books are vital to children's education and introducing them at the first possible opportunity helps babies to understand how books work and to love interacting with them.

Part of a growing series of Baby's Very First books from Usborne, suitable from birth onwards, which encourage sensory development. Brightly coloured, high-contrast illustrations are specially design to appeal to even the tiniest of babies.
