Crush by Eve Ainsworth

The Lovereading4Kids comment

Eve Ainsworth's gripping second novel, Crush is a pitch-perfect exploration of love at its most powerful, addictive and destructive. Dark, compelling and authentic it is the story of an abusive teen relationship, told from the perspective of the victim, fourteen-year-old Anna with warmth, sensitivity, humour and hope. From the author of Seven Days, which was devoured by many of our readers, Crush addresses serious issues and explores how quickly a teenage relationship can tip over from intense first love into a relationship that is stifling, oppressive and, finally, abusive.
