The Lovereading4Kids comment

Car-mad youngsters will love this speedy story of wacky racing and unexpected teamwork! Cool Cat and Top Dog may share a house, but they’re anything but friends! Indeed, readers won’t be surprised to hear that they fight like cat and dog, and when it’s time to compete in the top-secret, pet-only Pet Quest Cup, the gloves are off! Mike Yamada paints the race with the colour, feel and speed of a cartoon, as cars and competitors career around the track. When their dirty tricks backfire, knocking them out, cat and dog decide to team up eventually crossing the line together, and in first place. Great fun, and you can’t repeat that message about teamwork often enough. ~ Andrea Reece
