This is the concluding part of the thrilling adventure that began with House of Secrets and, as readers have come to expect, the pace does not let up for a minute. Brendan, Cordelia and Eleanor have one chance to save their home and indeed the world. To do so, they need to locate three magical objects and split up to go after them, which puts each of them in extra jeopardy. There are cliff-hangers a-plenty, and moments that will have readers gasping out loud. It all comes to a suitably satisfying climax and this is vivid, cinema-style fiction with fabulous scenes and plot-twists to keep readers on the edge of their seats.
