Published in collaboration with the Natural History Museum, The Prehistoric Times is a clever and creative way of exploring a topic that continues to fascinate children, dinosaurs and their world. Designed to look like a cross between a newspaper and a magazine, it profiles a different dinosaur on each page, in a series of ‘feature articles’, including interviews, and also features quizzes, drawing activities and lots of puzzles. There are even adverts – a money saving offer on Barry-Onyx’s fishbar for example! Black and white and red throughout, it’s really attractively laid out and will provide hours of interactive fun, as well as being a really interesting and inspiring information book. ~ Andrea Reece
