The Lovereading4Kids comment

It’s Troll Day and the trolls are out in force! Fortified by a breakfast of gutter-fish roast, slug stew and rat-on-a-stick, they head for the shopping mall, burping, farting and shouting their Troll marching song as they go, until order is finally restored. Children will revel in their gleeful anarchy though adults will probably sigh with relief as Troll Day is brought to an end. The story is told in thumping good rhymes by poet Ron Butlin while illustrator James Hutcheson succeeds in making the trolls both disgusting and cute. Gruesome good fun! ~ Andrea Reece

Synopsis

Day of the Trolls by James Hutcheson

It's the Day of the Trolls: Fart-Fart and all the trolls are back! Join them in the shopping mall where they go wild, causing havoc as they overrun the place. But when they follow sign saying All Trolls - This Way, things turn out very differently to what Flycatcher, Bumscratcher, SnotFace, Squeer and the rest of them expected ...

This new take on trolls will appeal to children aged 3-7 with its funny and imaginative rhymes and full-colour illustrations.
