Boys in particular, looking for adventure will love this one. Short chapters coupled with some good-looking illustrations. As with The Gorilla Suit this title has been brought back into print by new children’s publisher Catnip.

There has been a real dearth of good books for the 5-7 year old market and it’s great this publisher is filling that gap.

The Littlest Pirate and the Hammerheads by Sherryl Clark

He may be the littlest pirate in the world, but he's also the bravest!

Evil Captain Hammerhead has sailed away with the family treasure. Quick, Nicholas Nosh, you can catch him but you'll need all your courage...

Sherryl Clark
I was born in New Zealand in 1956 and moved to Australia in 1978.

Today my time is divided between teaching and writing, but much as I enjoy teaching, I do hope to eventually write almost full-time (I can’t imagine giving up teaching altogether!). I also speak at conferences, teach one-off workshops, visit schools (when I have time) and participate in events such as the MS Readathon and children’s book events.
