The Lovereading4Kids comment

Oh how I wish I’d seen a tooth fairy on my pillow when I was young. This is a wonderfully believable tooth fairy story that young children will adore.

There’s trouble in fairyland so join in all the action to find out whether the good tooth fairies or the selfish sprite win the day.

From the same author as More Magical Fairy Fun, Fairy Secrets, Mum Mystery, and Cosmo and The Magic Sneeze.

Synopsis

Fairy Gold by Gwyneth Rees

Lucy can't believe her eyes when she wakes in the night to find Goldie and Bonnie - two tooth fairies - on her pillow. The fairies tell Lucy that their job is to collect children's teeth, replace them with fake ones - and make a potion that creates golden Goodness. But there is trouble in fairyland.

About the Author

Gwyneth Rees

Gwyneth Rees was born in Leicester in 1968, and moved to Glasgow at the age of six. She studied medicine at Glasgow University and qualified as a doctor in 1990. She now works as a child and adolescent consultant psychiatrist and has lived and worked in various places, including Birmingham and London.

Gwyneth's interest in writing has been constant since her childhood when she was an avid reader of Enid Blyton and wrote her first "book" in an exercise jotter at the age of ten. (It featured four children trying to solve a mystery about sheep rustlers on the Isle of Skye!) As a medical student she went on writing workshops during the holidays, which fuelled her desire to be published.
