The Lovereading4Kids comment

If you like the Lemony Snicket books you should try Edgar and Ellen. The unfortunate events are normally created by Edgar and Ellen themselves and they never work out exactly as planned, however you will soon get hooked on the goings on in Nod’s Lands and perfect for reading at Halloween. This is the 6th in the series so if you like this you have plenty to go on. Previous titles in order are: Rare Beasts, Tourist Trap , Under Town , Pet’s Revenge , and High Wire.

Synopsis

Nod's Limbs by Charles Ogden

It's all-out war with the Knightleigh family, and Edgar and Ellen are losing ground. But everyone's attention is diverted by the ghostly hand of fortune: Augustus Nod has launched a treasure hunt from beyond the grave! The twins must solve the riddles and discover Nod's golden limbs before the Knightleighs bury the past - and the twins with it!
