The Lovereading4Kids comment

What a brilliant way to introduce young children to the idea that there are lots of exciting places in the world that exist beyond their home.

It is sure to delight young children and comes with an endearing sing along CD.

About the Author

Sally Crabtree specialises in writing rhymes, songs and stories for younger children. She lives in the fishing village of Mousehole, Cornwall, with her husband, artist Tom Rickman, and their two children, Daisy and Milo. Her greatest passions are books, poetry and writing songs.

Sally has become well known in England for her original creation, the "Poetree," a copper structure from which children pick fruit and then listen to the song or story connected with it. She spends her time writing and performing for adults and children. Magic Train Ride is her first project with Barefoot Books.
