The Lovereading4Kids comment

The perfect book to celebrate Herge's centenary. It provides a remarkable insight into the fictional world of Tintin and into the real world time in which Herge was writing. Covering the main characters - Tintin, Snowy, Captain Haddock, Professor Calculus, Thomson and Thompson and Bianca Castafiore – as well as the lesser-known ones, this title is guaranteed to be a success with fans of the quiff-headed journalist. Definitely something to be read in front of a warm fire, in a big comfortable settee by longstanding aficionados as well as a wonderful introduction to a new generation of potential devotees.

In 2002 Farr was interviewed on BBC News in a section on the Tintin exhibition at the National Maritime Museum, Greenwich. He appeared in 2003 in the film documentary, Tintin and I. He now lives in London with his wife and daughter.

Farr is bilingual in English and French. He wrote a French version of Tintin The Complete Companion at the same time as he wrote the English version.
