Shortlisted for the Baby Book Award 2007 and A deserved winner of the Booktrust ‘Early Years’ Award 2007. This title is one of a series of lift-the-flap books designed specially for babies and toddlers to enjoy the world of books from an early age. Child’s Play are a smallish publisher but they certainly know how to get children enthused. Tucking In will ensure there’s no faddy feeder in your house.

Tucking In! by Jess Stockham

A board book, containing flaps which babies can lift to find out how they are just like many different animals. Let's learn about ourselves! What do we look like? What do we like to eat and do? How do we feel?

Reviews

Great stories to use with young children. The books are made of sturdy cardboard and feature a mixture of familiar and unfamiliar age-appropriate scenes and pictures. Each page has a statement - for example 'elephant has floppy ears' - and the opposite page folds out to reveal the baby and the repetitive 'just like me!

-grabbing. The books are relatively small which makes them easier for little hands to to hold and carry around as independence develops. -- Margo Turnbull Early Talk 2007 Part of the delightful 'Just Like Me
