The Lovereading4Kids comment

Original, funny and moving, this is a thoughtful story capturing the confusion of 10 year old Danny. Since his twin brother died, everything has seemed muddled up and Danny makes some bad decisions before thinking things through and returning home. Although touched with sadness, this is a heart warming story.

Synopsis

The Thing With Finn by Tom Kelly

Ten-year-old Danny knows he's going somewhere, but he just doesn't know where. On his way he flattens a stuffed otter, messes with a dog called The Beast and feeds biscuits to blue Louis. But however far or fast he goes, Danny can't outrun the memories that have chased him ever since his identical twin brother died.
