The Lovereading4Kids comment

Cliff Richard’s readings of the 50 stories in this collection provide a vivid audio version which makes a perfect partner to the beautifully illustrated book. All the classic stories of the Bible including the story of the Creation, the building of the Ark, Joseph and his coat of many colours, David and Goliath and many more are included. The strength of them both as marvellous stories as well as their role in showing how Christian’s view God is celebrated.

The great stories of the Bible have been treasured for generations. They are astonishing and inspiring tales of people at their best and at their worst. Here Cliff Richard has selected and narrated his favourite stories into this book and CD collection. An absolute must for the nursery to be enjoyed together or alone.

In 2008, Cliff Richard will be celebrating 50 years in show business. As part of these celebrations, Lion Children's Books has been specially commissioned to produce a book and CD package of Cliff Richard's 50 favourite Bible stories, which have been brought together in this colourfully presented hardback to make not only a special commemorative item but a book that can be enjoyed every day. These stories are retold by acclaimed writer and dramatist Brian Sibley and read aloud by Cliff himself for a whole new generation of young ones to enjoy.
