The Lovereading4Kids comment

Follow the delightful and at times naughty fairy, Twink, and her friends as they progress up through Glitterwings Academy, the boarding school of boarding schools for fairies. But beware parents, children who read Glitterwings will soon be asking to go off to boarding school for twink and her friends seem to have such fun. Here at Lovereading4kids we tend to focus most of our attentions on one off titles rather than series. However, when we saw Glitterwings we felt the narrative was so accomplished, stylish and exciting that we shouldn’t ignore it. It’s a series that bridges a gap from early readers to really confident readers, so anyone from 5-9 will enjoy the experience of a series such as this one, rather than just one-off books. At that age most girls still absolutely love all things pink, glittery and if it involves fairies then even better. Glitterwings Academy is just that. To see all the titles just click here.

Synopsis

Glitterwings Academy: Flying High by Titania Woods

Number 1 in the series. Glitterwings Academy is the fairy school to go to, and Twink is so excited to be starting her first term. But she is also a little nervous. Will she make friends? Will she be able to find her way round the dizzying, huge oak tree that is Glitterwings Academy? And will she be able to pass the test for new students - that of learning to fly?

It is THE website to use for narrowing down your search for any book. Definitely knocks the socks off any other book review website.
