The Lovereading4Kids comment

A wonderful story for developing readers with a lively, yet simple and straightforward text and speech bubbles to enhance the story further. This is the perfect book to engage young children and in turn to develop a love of reading.

Coconut Jack by Jill Lewis

Year One's homework is to make something for the jungle display. That evening most of the class are cutting and gluing, painting and drawing. But Jack thinks it's far more fun to play football. So he gets some modelling clay, rolls it into a ball and hey presto! It's a coconut. But Jack's family don't feel this is quite enough.
