Synopsis
The Story Blanket by Ferida Wolff, Harriet May SavitzBabba Zarrah has a beautiful woollen sitting blanket, which the children sit on to listen to her stories. When she realises the villagers need new clothes, Babba Zarrah begins to unravel her blanket in secret to make them. Ferida Wolff worked as a teacher and a journalist before becoming a writer. She lives in the US, and has two grown-up children. Harriet May Savitz had over 24 books published, including picture books and teenage fiction. She lived in the US until her death in 2008.
