The Lovereading4Kids comment

How a loveable baby outwits a scary, bad tempered dragon is a warm-hearted celebration of the irresistible charm of babies. Breathing his terrible fiery breath, a dragon crashes into a young baby’s bedroom in search of treasure. Of course, the baby has none but soon the two are off flying through the sky on a great bedtime adventure. Soon the dragon learns that being scary and fierce is far less fun than playing with this sweet little baby.

Baby Dragon Tamer by Jan Fearnley

A dragon has arrived! He's big snorting purple smoke - and all he wants is treasure! And he'll try anything to get it. But he's reckoned without the Baby. The Baby isn't the slightest bit afraid of the dragon, no matter what tricks he tries, and it's only after their fun-filled, night-time adventure that the dragon realises what real treasure is.

The brightly hued illustrations conjure up an imaginary land that tickles the funnybone. -- Kirkus Reviews on Mr. Wolf's Pancakes
