Synopsis

The Puffin Baby and Toddler Treasury by

A collection of nursery rhymes, lullabies, poems and stories, featuring characters, such as Spot, The Snowman and Beatrix Potter's Tom Kitten. Brought to life by some of the most talented children's illustrators, this treasury is perfect for sharing and will make any collection complete.

Reviews

Small but beautifully formed, this is truely a treasure chest of delights for the under fives. The collection is packed full of traditional nursery rhymes like 'Humpty Dumpty

'Pop Goes the Weasel'; contemporary favourites such as 'The Wheels on the Bus'; and verses, lullabies and poems from the likes of Edward Lear, Johannes Brahms, William Blake and Robert Louis Stevenson. There are also fairy tales - 'Goldilocks and the Three Bears', 'The Ugly Duckling', 'The Three Little Pigs'

'The Gingerbread Man'; Raymond Briggs's much loved 'Snowman'

'Spots First Picnic'. This wonderful selection of the traditional and the modern is beautifully brought to life by a marvellous array of children's illustrators including Tony Ross, Nick Sharratt, Kate Greenaway and Eric Hill and pratically every page is a work of art in itself. All told 'The Baby and Toddler Treasury'
