The Lovereading4Kids comment

Perfect for all babies, this is a first ‘book’ which is as much a cot decoration as a traditional book. Across fourteen ‘pages’ – 7 pages on each side of a padded cloth - beautiful bold and bright images show different animals thus stimulating the vision of the very young. Soft to the touch and with a silky finish, this is beautiful to feel as well as to ‘read’.

After university she worked as a researcher and writer for a company which published educational material for places where children went on school visits (zoos, museums, stately homes etc). Fiona joined Usborne Publishing as an assistant editor in 1989, and over the years has been promoted to editor, senior editor, and then managing editor. In 2003, she became an editorial director at Usborne, largely responsible for writing baby and novelty books, and art and activity titles.

Fiona has written over 100 titles for Usborne Publishing including the phenomenally successful 'That's not my...' touchy-feely series. Other titles include large touchy-feely books on topics ranging from princesses to farms; cloth books with touchy-feely patches and flaps; a wide range of step-by-step art and activity books, including 'How to knit'; music books with CDs for babies and toddlers; 'Dolly Dressing' sticker books; Hide-and-Seek lift-the-flap books; bath books; cookery books and snap cards!
