Pirates Puzzle with CD-ROM by Anna Nilsen
Five pirate captains find the secret of the treasure's location when they stumble on a map and co-ordinate. Each captain tells the secret reference to his or her first mate, each of whom then sets off to locate it before the other captains' crews. The race becomes a relay as each searching crewmember meets a colleague and passes on the secret to a fresher pair of legs. The aim of the game is to discover which crew finds the treasure. Do you dare set foot on Pirate Island, you fearless landlubber? The pirate captain Heridot van Haudegan is getting old, but there is no one worthy enough to take over his place. You must complete a number of missions to show you have the courage and wits of a pirate captain. Piece together a map leading to a secret bay where the old pirate captain's ship is anchored. Then find your crew. Next, you must trick five pirate captains out of their share of the treasure. When you've got your hands on the treasure, you are worthy of taking Heridot van Haudegan's place as captain! Features include a compass, a map and a chatterbox parrot, who will give you little clues along the way. There's also a pirate dictionary where you can find out all about famous pirates. Additional games on the CD-ROM include steering a ship and pirate catapulting!
