The Lovereading4Kids comment

A follow-up to the Award winning Toby Alone, this tells how life in the beautifully imagined world set in the heart of the great oak tree has changed – and for the worse. The power crazed Leo Blue has taken over. Can Toby fight back and put the world to rights again? The small people living in the trees are an engaging and original concept. De Fombelle’s debut Toby Alone won the Marsh Award for Translation.
