The Lovereading4Kids comment

Due August 2009. Pongwiffy the witch hates rainy days because she hates sitting around doing nothing so she decides to organise a holiday for her and her friends at none other than Sludgehaven-on-sea. That will be fun...

Pongwiffy the witch was created by the author over 20 years ago and the six titles have entertained millions of children and their parents for a long time. Now, 20 years on they have been brought to life for a new generation with fantastic new covers and best of all a brand new story too, Pongwiffy: Back on Track. Synopsis

Pongwiffy and the Holiday of Doom by Kaye Umansky

The fifth in the fantastically funny Pongwiffy series, newly repackaged; celebrating 21 years of Pongwiffy!

A laugh-out-loud story that is witty and clever, enticingly mixed in with much sludge, slime and very bad habits.

Reviews

‘Brought roars of both delight and disgust . . . an ebulliently uninhibited farce’

‘Jokey enough to persuade reluctant readers there is pleasure to be had from dipping into books’
Guardian

‘Young readers adore the jokes and the grubbiness’
Daily Telegraph
