The familiar characters from little Red Riding Hood are given an exciting new adventure in this entertaining and easy to read hospital drama. Everyone is afraid when the Big Bad Wolf is brought into the hospital. Nurse Percy cowers under the bed but is sternly told off by Doctor Glenda. However scary he is, the wolf is a patient and needs to be treated. But, what can he have eaten that has caused him to choke so badly? A fun first read that no 5+ year old, who is just beginning to want more words on the page than a picture book offers, should miss. It’s been a while since something as good as this has been published for 5-7 year olds. Other titles launched to coincide with Choking Wolf include Injured Spider and Melting Snowman.
