A fun first read that no 5+ year old, who is just beginning to want more words on the page than a picture book offers, should miss. It’s been a while since something as good as has been published for 5-7 year olds. This witty hospital drama cleverly brings characters from nursery rhymes into exciting and original stories. Poor Incy Wincy has a nasty head injury. When Miss Muffett finds Incy Wincy she takes the spider straight to City Hospital. What can have happened? Young readers will enjoy knowing something of the original stories behind the characters while also enjoying the busy hospital action. Other titles launched to coincide with Injured Spider include Choking Wolf and Melting Snowman.

Synopsis
Urgency Emergency! Injured Spider by Dosh ArcherMiss Muffet finds a spider lying in a puddle of water, just beneath a waterspout, and it is badly injured. Nurse Percy and Doctor Glenda come to the rescue as they hold the spider's hands (all eight of them!) and gently look after the cut. But who will look after Incy Wincy for the night when everyone knows that Miss Muffet is scared of spiders?
