The Lovereading4Kids comment

This sumptuous collection of ballet stories will enchant young dreamers and would-be ballet dancers alike. The seven jewel-like stories – from The Nutcracker to The Sleeping Beauty - feature magic and comedy, drama and adventure, and are accompanied by a brief history of classical ballet, as well as historical details of the composition, choreography and early performances of each ballet. Almost best of all is the complete book on CD and narrated by the wonderful Juliet Stevenson. Her voice really brings each story to life most brilliantly.
