The Lovereading comment:
Interest Age 9+ Reading Age 8+. Space fantasy, dinosaurs and a trip back in time are the elements in this dramatic story about some homework that goes a bit wild. Millie and Mouse disagree about their homework on dinosaurs: Millie who loves them thinks it will be exciting, Mouse who hates them things it will be boring. But when their friend the alien Umba-Wumba turns up and gives them a ride back into the past in his space ship, both find out just what dinosaurs are really like. An action packed adventure, simply written by the bestselling author of An Alien Ate Me For Breakfast, a book that has done much to help get many a reluctant reader reading. This new one will be no exception for the author is particularly good at writing a real rip-roaring read. Like many of the books published by Barrington Stoke, this book is short so has greater appeal to reluctant readers than most books targeting this age range.
