Ralph is a young boy - a bit of a geek you could say, as he’s heavily into chess and books. No one really notices him until he develops some magical heroic powers, which he puts to good use helping people get out of a problem.
The real originality of this delightful debut is the writing for the story is written entirely in rhyme. It’s so clever and coupled with the zany colour illustrations interspersed with the cleverly designed text it’s guaranteed to excite children into reading and experiencing rhyme for themselves, perhaps for the first time.
Ralph is a quiet, studious boy whom nobody even notices. When, one
night, he dreams that he's actually a superhero, his sister and
classmates all laugh. However, when a series of miraculous events occur
around him, everybody starts to believe in his super human powers.
Everyone that is ... except Ralph!
