A book shaped box in which you’ll find some inspirational cards, in essence a toolkit for the imagination that’s designed to inspire storytellers of all ages. It really does give you the world of storytelling at your fingertips in an ingenious package. You’ll find over 25 cards depicting images from The Magical Toy Box – characters, places and objects plus there’s a little book that will provide you with even more inspiration if you’re struggling with your story.

The storyteller joins up one of the many starting points provided by the cards in the pack with one of the ending points by using signposts and suggestions for new strands to shape the narrative. It’s great fun to pick cards at random and make use of the pictures and words on them as inspiration, or you can be more set and choose cards of your choice to create a story. It works every time and is a brilliant way of firing a child’s imagination. Try it... Click here to view other titles in the Storyworld range including a sumptuous gift box edition consisting of even more cards than this one provides together with a 76-page hardback book.
