The Lovereading4Kids comment

The young agents of Cherub are back for a new fast paced adventure. Able to slip into places that adults can’t and able to find out secrets that adults would rather keep hidden, the Cherubs are a formidable but unsuspected force. This time their enemy is the Brigands Motorcycle Club members who are mean, menacing and are willing to kill. Dante is a new Cherub recruit with a mission to infiltrate the Brigands M.C. As a victim of their violence, he’ll do anything to destroy them.

Synopsis

Brigands M.C. Part of the Cherub Series by Robert Muchamore

Every CHERUB agent comes from somewhere. Dante Scott still has nightmares about the death of his family, brutally murdered by a biker gang. Dante is given the chance to become a member of CHERUB, a trained professional with one essential advantage: adults never suspect that children are spying on them. But when Dante joins James and Lauren Adams on a mission to infiltrate Brigands Motorcycle Club, he's ready to use everything he's learned to get revenge on the people who killed his family...

Robert Muchamore was our Guest Editor in Feb 2010 - click here - to see the books that inspired his writing.

Robert Muchamore was born in Islington in 1972. As a teenager he dreamt of either becoming an architect, a photographer or a writer. On discovering that architects have to train for seven years and after quitting his Saturday job in a camera shop, he saved up enough money to buy a word processor and set his heart on writing. The only problem was, he didn't know what to write. So, he found a regular job and spent thirteen years as a private investigator.

Robert grew up listening to mix tapes sent to him by his older brother, developing tastes for indie bands like Joy Division, The Pogues and The Smiths. The idea for Rock War came from seeing that many of Robert's fans turned up at book signings wearing the logos of long dead rock bands, and a realisation that his online fan forum had more kids talking about the X-Factor than about his books.
