The Lovereading4Kids comment

A wonderfully engaging fantasy set on a far-from-ordinary farm with a history as rich as Narnia. Readers will be taken on an extraordinary adventure and meet brilliantly imagined characters in this cleverly plotted first collaboration between one of the best-loved fantasy authors Tad Williams and Deborah Beale, author and former publisher. Packed with magical animals, lovers of Christopher Paolini’s Eragon will devour it as will anyone who wants a truly page-turning adventure. This hardcover edition is beautifully packaged with each chapter headed up by a wonderfully detailed illustration.

The Dragons of Ordinary Farm by Tad Williams, Deborah Beale

Tyler and Lucinda have to spend summer with their Uncle Gideon, a farmer. But when they arrive they discover that Ordinary Farm is no ordinary farm: there's a dragon, unicorns, a flying monkey... the place seems like an adventure. But when darker secrets surface will Tyler and Lucinda be able to save the dragons, the farm, and themselves?

‘Strange creatures, human and otherwise, and dangers around every corner. This is a rousing tale’ - Terry Brooks

‘The plot is clever, the characters interesting and mysterious and best of all it has dragons. I can’t wait for the next page-turning adventure’ - Christopher Paolini
