The Lovereading4Kids comment

Charming simplicity is the key to this delicate two-colour picture book which captures a magical friendship between Jack Frost and the little boy who befriends him. Together, the two play happy, snow filled games; Jack Frost lasts just so long as the boy keeps his promise never to mention anything warm. But, one day he forgets…No explanation is needed but the book leaves a wonderful feeling of hope.

The LoveReading Comment:

A Useful book about Friendship. Jack, a boy with a frozen touch, is taught magic in an enchanted forest by magical creatures and trees. And it's up to Jack Frost to save this magic from the jealous, stupid, goblins. Kazuno Kohara's distinctive lino-cut illustrations and limited colour palette provide the perfect counterpart to her spare, witty storytelling in this stylish new picture book - her first was Haunted House - with great child appeal.
