The Lovereading4Kids comment

Winner of the Children's Fiction Award at The People's Book Prize 2011, voted for by the public. Publisher Top That! and author Henry Fisher would like to extend their thanks to everyone who voted.

Wonderfully dreamy and fantastical illustrations – opera singing mermaids, shy dragons and even chocolate drinking vampires - combine with simple text to encourage children to learn their ABC. Perfect as a bedtime read as after the parent has gone it’s the sort of book that a toddler will love on their own as well. Learning the alphabet has never been so weirdly exciting and immensely fun.
