The Lovereading4Kids comment

A gritty, intense, psychological YA thriller featuring Alex, school psycho and underground cage-fighting champion and Kyle, talented artist, smart schoolboy and funny man. Fast-paced with a dual narrative running between the two key protagonists throughout the book, you'll be hooked as soon as you meet both characters.

Synopsis

Clash by Colin Mulhern

When Alex witnesses a brutal murder at the cage fighting club he can't go back into the cage, but without fighting he starts to lose control. He soon sets his sights on Kyle, a boy he thinks can help. But Kyle has his own problems: he's convinced Alex is one of them. Boys can play dangerous games when they're scared and this one will haunt everyone involved...
