The Lovereading comment:
Everyone is unique and different in the world but that doesn't mean they can't get on. This is a brilliantly funny story about celebrating our differences - a joyous little treasure for the whole family to share. Stylish and affordable books for children and parents alike.
One of an initial series of 13 titles in a wonderful collection under the banner of The World of Happy, each one of them featuring playful, charming, quirky, joyous and heart-warming stories about positive and uplifting values: love, happiness, freedom, pleasure, being yourself and revelling in the wonders of what it means to be alive and all written and illustrated by Giles Andreae, the creator of Purple Ronnie.
Children will love the funky, colourful animals and funny stories about belching sharks, dancing hippos, knitting gorillas and drumming crickets. Adults will appreciate the sophistication, quirkiness and philosophical content. World of Happy delivers something emotionally rich and complex while being easily accessible to children.
The World of Happy books are a great value addition to any nursery bookshelf which kids will enjoy time and time again.
